How can I find out whether I have a .org or .com website?
-
I am confused. I have two websites and I think they are both .com but, for one of them (the-body-politic) I pay a fee for hosting and “mapping” and yet there is no facility, for example, for accessing plugins.
Also I have never downloaded WordPress onto my PC so what exactly is it that I have?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
To view your domain information, please click on Store→My Domains in your Dashboard.
I see that your WordPress.com blog, the-body-politic.wordpress.com, is mapped to the-body-politic.org.
You cannot install plugins on WordPress.com hosted sites, only on self-hosted sites via WordPress.org. Both your sites are hosted on WordPress.com and this is why you are unable to use plugins.
