How can I find the California Unemployment Ext. Blog?

Hi all. I’m brand new here. I have been following a blog for nearly a year. The title is “Your California Unemployment Extension, in English this time.” This blog and the long, long thread of comments to it have been a valuable resource for me and many other unemployed people. I went to read the latest postings yesterday and found that it now links to this site.
Problem is, after creating an account here, I can’t find that unemployment extension blog. I’ve used search in the obvious ways, but still can’t find the blog. Can anyone help me out? How do I find formerly public blog that is now “protected” here on wordpress? Thanks.

It’s been set to Private. There are already many threads on it in the forum.
Unless the blogger specifically invites you to view the private blog, you will not be able to see it. The blog is “protected” specifically because the owner does not want it open to the public. Nobody here knows why.

No, sorry, no idea.
My guess is that they’re probably moving off WP.com and have set the blog to private to drive people to the new blog. OR they just found carrying the emotional load for so many people burdensome and wanted to walk away clean. There are a lot of people in the other thread who feel quite strongly that this person has an actual obligation to carry on this unpaid work for them, which would be enough to put anyone off.
You could TRY using the blogname and adding gmail or hotmail suffixes; for instance, my email is raincoaster at gmail dot com. Try that, but don’t expect it to work, it’s a longshot.
I expect the blog isn’t being updated at all, so having access won’t do you any good.

darn! i was just trying to find that blog also! have some questions in need answered….can anyone recommenced another good site to go to? I have one more week of my second extension and was wondering what happens next…(just had my one year mark at the beginning of march) HELP PLEASE! Weise where are you???
