How can I find the header.php file to insert Google Analytics Code?
-
I’d like to put Google Analytics Code into my site to track statistics. According to online directions, I can do this by adding the tracking code to the header.php file by choosing Appearance > Editor. But when I click on Appearance, I don’t see “Editor” as an option. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t use Google Analytics here and you can’t edit any PHP code – the edit code restrictions is for security and reliability reasons

This is redic. The Google meta tag is also used for linking from YouTube vids to our blogs. Really? No access to the header tag? Can I get a refund, please? I paid for a year to get my own URL and I don’t have admin rights? You’re kidding. Please say this is a misunderstanding and I’m in in the wrong topic.

Yes, there is a misunderstanding. You misunderstood that buying your own domain and mapping does nothing other than give you a custom domain; it does not change the nature and limitations of the software you chose.
Apply for a refund from your dashboard Store page, but note that if you give up a domain name there is no guarantee you can ever get it again.

Got it. I’ve used WordPress software hosted on another domain before and am accustomed to having full administrative rights.
Is there no work-around to verifying ownership with YouTube outside of leaving your servers? I can’t pay your developers to paste the meta tag into the header.php?
So, thinking business model here; doesn’t it make sense to offer a YouTube partner with a strong following some way to link WordPress and YouTube?
