How can I fix the length of my subscribers emails?
-
Hi all! I was wondering if I can change the email length that is sent to my subscribers. Whenever I post a new post, the entire post text is sent in the email. Is it possible to send a shortened amount, and have them click ‘read more’ or something to redirect them to my blog? Thanks!
For reference, my blog is http://www.jennalamsjournal.wordpress.com. I have the free version and no plugins. Any and all help is appreciated.

Hello! My website is http://www.jennalamsjournal.com. For some reason, whenever I post a new blog post, no one in my subscription list receives my email. What is wrong?

Hi there!
I have merged all your threads into one so it is easier for us to help you.
You mentioned that your subscribers are not receiving the notifications, can you share email address of the users who are subscribed to your blog but have not received the email when you published a post? The emails will be redacted and only visible to the WordPress.com staff.

Yes, that is possible. Go to My Site>Manage>Settings>Writing, scroll down to Feed Settings and check the option Limit feed to excerpt only.
I’ve tried to change my domain name (I still want the free WordPress version), but I am unable to. I clicked on My Home < Manage < Domains < Change Site Address but I literally cannot type in and change my domain – it doesn’t allow me to.
You should not have any problem with that, have you tried to clear your browser’s cache already? You can find here more information on how to clear the cache depending on your browser:

If that does not help, could you try doing that from another browser? Let me know if that helped.

Hi! I was able to solve the first two problems! Thank you very much. But I’m still unable to change the site address. I tried using a different browser and cleared my data as suggested.

Hi there,
First of all, the domain you mentioned jennalamsjournal.com has never been registered. If you want to change your site’s address to that domain, you can register it by following these instructions:
Please note that this is a paid upgrade.
If you instead want to change the address to another .wordpress.com one, then you need to follow these instructions:
