How can I follow other blogs and view their updates via WordPress?

  Google blogger has a “dashboard” where you can view a list of blogs you are following. You can click on a certain blog to view its most recent updates, or you can view “all updates” so that you don’t have to wade through each blog individually.

  Does WordPress have a feature like this? I don’t want to just subscribe to blogs and end up clogging up my email with their updates. I want to be able to skim through and read the ones I’m most interested in. If you want, I can send you a screen shot of the Google version – I’m not sure if my description here has been very clear.
