How can I format picture so readers can click to enlarge?

    Once upon a time when I loaded individual photos, it was possible for readers to click to enlarge. A hand “thingy” would hover over the photo to allow readers to “click to enlarge.” Now, only a cursor arrow lies on my photos. What can I do to allow readers to click to enlarge.
    I have examined the html but cannot deduce what all the html is, specifically the capital letter P + a long number. Where does that number derive from?
    Anyway, help. How can my readers click to enlarge my photos? Thank you.
