How can I get a company blog removed? The company does not have admin access.
-
Hello,
I am a freelance content writer and one of my clients previously hired an SEO company to increase his rankings in search engines. Unfortunately, the SEO company utilized black hat tactics and basically created various blogs which all point to his main domain. I cannot get in touch with the individual who created the blog, because she was working as a subcontractor for the SEO company. My client does not have access to the blog and he wants it taken down.
Here is the link: http://mohlersolar.wordpress.com/
Is there anything I can do to remove this blog?
Thanks so much for your help.-Monica

If they used real Black Hat SEO – that is not welcome here and against the Terms of Service – So just report the blog
While logged in – mouse over the blog name in the left side of the top Nav Bar & click on Report Content.
All blogs are owned by the account (email) that set them up and taking over another blog, even if the blog name matches a company name that is in the blog is a very tough sell

try leaving a comment on the blog and ask the blog owner to contact you – if the comments are moderated an email will be sent to the blog Admin

Thank you. I just saw that one of the TOS violations include: “blogs designed with the sole purpose of driving the search engine rankings of other websites,” which is precisely what it is. I’ve just submitted my request so hopefully they’ll take it down.
Thanks! :)
