How can I get a domain that is taken but inactive

    I am wanting to change my domain, but it says that the domain is taken. I visited the site and it has not been used since 2007, for one blog post. And when I attempt to read the blog post it has been taken down with a ‘Page not found’ error message.

    I was wondering if there’s any way that I could have that domain, since the page is clearly inactive.

    Howdy,

    Your best bet is to try registering it at the following URL. If it can be registered there, you can do so. But if not, it won’t be possible to claim it. You’d need to pick a different name.
