How can I get a facebook "like" button that links to my blogs facebook page?

  Facebook tells me to use this function to create the badge to post on my blog that will allow my readers to “like” my blogs facebook page:

  https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like-box/

  When I create the desired badge and copy paste it into a text widget it does not work.

  What am I doing wrong?

  Unfortunately, we filter out that type of code for security and stability purposes. You won’t be able to add a Like button for your blog, but you can for your individual posts via Settings -> Sharing in your blog’s Dashboard.
