How can I get a specific post on the front page?

  Hi.
  I have just taken over a site that I’ve been writing for as a freelancer. No I have the overall responsibility. I want to change the front page to show the most recent articles on the first 1/3 of the page, and then soon specific post that I choose myself on the second 1/3 of the page. I guess this is something I can change within the widget settings, but I haven’t found out how.

  Anyone have a solution for this? I’m thankfull for all replies.

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
