how can I get an edit button?

How can I get an edit button on the bottom of my web pages? We used to have one, but now it is gone.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Admin [edit] will appear only for logged in Admin and Editors if you have any. The Admin [edit] link is only for your convenience and the convenience of your Editors, if you have any. And only you and your editors can see it and use it while you are logged in to WordPress.com. It did not tell me how to get an edit button.
I tried the click on edit button then apply button and no pages came up.
I need help – is there someone I can talk to?

Which edit button?
For which Page or which Post are your referring to?
Post the URL starting with http:// here for the exact one you mean. -

I have been answering questions here for nearly 8 years and that’s years longer than most staff have even been on staff. There is no phone support here.

We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like http://montessoriglened.wordpress.com/ and not for WordPress.org software installs like http://montessoriglened.org/
You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of some themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
