HOW CAN I GET AUTHORIZATION CODE FOR DOMAIN TRANSFER THAT HAS RECENTLY EXPIRED?
-
I need to transfer my domain that is registered at wordpress.com and expired 4 days ago. I cannot access the the account to get the Authorization Code for the transfer because of the expiration notice. I don’t want to cancel the domain because it’ll take too longer to recover it. If you can send me the authorization code to make the transfer for azchartersgolf.org that would be great. Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

HI there, I’ve sent the authorization code to the admin email address registered for the domain.
Please make sure to initiate the transfer right away. Your domain is currently in a grace period where it’s possible to either transfer it, or renew it at the regular price. After the grace period ends (about two weeks) the domain can only be transferred or renewed by paying an $80 redemption fee to the registrar.
You can read more about what happens to expired domains here:
Once you’ve initiated the transfer at your new registrar, you can sign into your Domain Management area through Store -> Domains to manually accept the pending transfer. This page explains how to get logged into the Domain Management area:

Please let me know if you get stuck :-)

Thanks. I haven’t received the authorization code email yet. How long does it normally take?

Hi there, I’ve opened a support ticket for your issue. You’ll receive a message at the email address registered to this WordPress.com user account. If you’re not sure what that address is, you can see it in your account settings here:
https://wordpress.com/settings/
The EPP code would have also gone directly to that same address. If you can’t receive email at that address, can you please update it to a current address you have access to? And reply here to let me know. Thanks!
