How can I get dynamic gutenberg block attributes from rest api?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi everyone

I am developing a website using rest api. and I created a dynamic block using the @wordpress/create-block package. but REST Api gives me gutenberg blocks rendered as html. but what I want to do is get it as block name and attribute. I found a plugin for this but it only works for static blocks. when I use a dynamic block it gives incomplete results.

The plugin I’m using gives the name of the block but not the full block properties. and this only happens with dynamic blocks. I guess the plugin doesn’t fully extract the html. I’ve been working on this issue for a few days, but I couldn’t reach the result I wanted. I will be glad if you help.

  • Hi there,

The only sites I see on your @awenarts WordPress.com account when I check on our end are listed here:

    • awenarts.wordpress.com

I see you mentioned plugins, but there are no plugins on awenarts.wordpress.com when I check. Is it possible you created your site under a different login that we are not able to see?  What is the URL of the site you are needing help with?

Happy to check in our system so we can take a closer look.
