How can I get email followers to generate more traffic on my blog?

How can I make sure that followers who receive an email notification, only receives a link to my blog and not the entire blog as the latter doesn’t generate any traffic on my blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I suggest having your New Post Notifications go out as summaries. These summaries will have links to your site, so subscribers can continue reading your post on your site.
To set this up, log into your site’s Dashboard and go to Settings → Reading. Where you see, “For each article in a feed, show,” you will change the setting to Summary.
Then make sure to save the changes you made.
That will do the trick!

This is out of WordPress, but would you happen to know how the same procedure is done for Bloglovin’? I am struggling to set reading to summary there, too.

I wish I could help with Bloglovin, but I’m not entirely certain how their system works.
I did do a little search for you, and found this:
http://xomisse.com/blog/blog-tips-ultimate-guide-to-bloglovin/I see that it’s possible to assign “summary” settings to your feed under the heading, “IMAGES NOT APPEARING/ HOW TO CHECK IF RSS IS VALID.”
