How can i get more buttons on the nav bar

    Hi,
I’m a newbie, so have a newbie question.
I have one more page (it happens to be where posts go) than appear on the buttons across the top of my blog (againstbakerchristopher.wordpress.com). Is there a way I can get more buttons?
    Thanks,
    Steven

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By putting the http part in there, it makes the link clickable http://againstbakerchristopher.wordpress.com/ also – consider changing the link in your user name to your blog since having a site not hosted here is of no use to the volunteers in the forum.

It seems that is a limitation of the theme you have chosen. You may want to make some of the pages sub-pages or try putting the pages widget in your sidebar to see if that helps. (Also – you may try shortening the page names to see if more buttons fit.)

Same with several other themes (in my opinion too many header tabs aren’t very elegant or very practical).

As Vivian says, you can add the Pages widget for your sidebar, then turn some of the pages into child-pages: the header displays parent pages only, but the pages widget displays all pages.

    Two other things:

    – You’ve got the Home tab twice. Because of what I just explained, you can get rid of the extra tab by turning the Home page you created into a child page. (If you decide to add the Pages widget, you’ll also have to exclude that page from showing.)

    – The blog name appears twice too (standard plus header image you have loaded). Either edit the image to remove it from the image, or edit it to include the tagline as well, then go to “Custom Image Header” and select the option to “Hide Text” (removes the standard blog title and tagline).
