How can I get my blog name back after I've deleted the blog?

I added one of my blogs to a different user account, but then tried to return it to the original account. I couldn’t do that so I decided to delete the blog and then open it again using the same name under the original account. But even though the blog is deleted I’m told that the name is already taken. What can I do to get the original blog name back?

Sorry, once deleted, a blog subdomain here at WordPress.com cannot be reused, you should have received several warnings during the deletion process with a warning about that:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/If you have a name that you’re really fond of, you can always register the domain name here and map it to your blog:

Hi Steve. Once a blog address is deleted, it is not retrievable at all. You would have been warned about this at least twice during the process of deleting the site. See the following article for more information:
