How can I get my blog not to count my views in the stats?

I created a second blog last week using the same username. My new blog is private, so I know there are no outside visits to my blog yet the stats show each of my views. What do I do? I am not very blog/wordpress savvy so if you’re going to suggest a plug in I will need directions on how to do that. Thanks.
