How can I get my current blog to come up first for readers?

How do I get my blog to put the most current blog on the opening page for readers? Will that blog change in the headings on Virginia’s Weblog, or how do I edit that home page’s listed blogs (they’re all old). Readers are complaining that they’re thrust back to 2010 entries.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Edit those posts and make them un-sticky. When you make a post sticky, it stays at the top of the blog.

The top two posts on your homepage are presently “sticky” (see the Post Visibility support page to learn more about sticky posts). On any theme, sticky posts remain at the top of you posts page. On the Coraline theme, a sticky post has a yellow background.

Your latest post, dated March 1, 2015 (today), appears directly below the two sticky posts, which were each published in October 2008.

To remove those old posts from the top of the posts page, simply uncheck the box before “Stick this post to the front page” in the Visibility drop-down menu of the Publish module in each post editor.
You may make other posts sticky using the same editing option, which is available in each post editor.
