How can I get my Facebook Account to authorize to use the publicize feature?

I have been attempting to use the publicize feature on my edit blog screen. However, when I attempt to authorize my facebook account — it simply refreshes the screen and tells me my account has been authorized. In reality, it has not.
I’ve been repeating this process for a few days and cannot figure out how to make it connect. I’ve tried to reset my facebook password, log out before I attempt to authorize and a few other things.
Some direction would be great because I really like this feature and love to make use of it on my blog! Thank you so much!

Can you try the following steps one more time? Before you do the steps, could you completely clear all of your browser cache and cookies and log in again to each service when prompted?
