How can I get my image credits to show up?

It used to be that the information I typed into the “title” section of my uploaded images would appear when the reader hovered the mouse over the published image (used for artist credit.)
Now, although I type in the information, when the post is published & I hover the mouse over the image, no data appears.
Can anyone help me solve this problem? I’ve already tried to research it online to no avail. It’s giving me trouble with artists who say they aren’t getting credit for the work. I want to credit them, but can’t get this feature to work.
