How can I get my latest blog post to appear on the site?

I have just published a new post under my Blog post but it is not appearing on the site. When I click on ‘Blog’ on the menu all I get is the original post I published. When I look for that post among my ‘Posts’ in edit mode it’s not there. I’ve never had this problem before with my other sites, but when comparing the Menus on the other sides the blog appeared as a ‘Page’ and on this site it appears as ‘Custom’. Also I had to manually add it to the menu which I don’t remember having to do before.
The site in question is selfpublishingforthetechnicallychallenged.com. The other sites where the Blog post works perfectly are londontheatrevisits.com and theworstcountryintheworld.com.

What was the title of the post you tried to publish? Do you see your post listed at https://selfpublishingforthetechnicallychallenged.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php or https://selfpublishingforthetechnicallychallenged.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=trash&post_type=post ?

Hello and thanks for your response. I managed to fix the problem myself in the end – I hadn’t set up the blog as a page, so it wasn’t part of the menu. All is well now.
