How can I get my Outspoken Theme back?

    I accidentally changed my theme while testing out new themes. I was trying to go back and retrieve my original theme, the Outspoken Theme, which I purchased in 2015 and now I can’t seem to get it back. How can I get my Outspoken Theme back? I asked AI but it wasn’t able to help me. I’ve been using the Outspoken Theme for 10 years and I really like it. Can you please help me install it back???

    I checked your site, and I can confirm that you previously used the Outspoken theme. Since it’s a third-party theme, we cannot add it back for you. Feel free to share the theme file and send it to help@wordpress.com, and we’ll check it for you.

    Also, I recommend trying out other modern themes since the Outspoken theme has been retired and not updated since 2015. There might be visual bugs and incompatibility with modern browsers: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/changing-themes/

    Hi there,

    Unfortunately, I don’t have the theme file. When I purchased the theme in 2015 all I had to do was activate it the same way we activate themes right now.

    I think I might take your suggestion about trying out a new theme. I wasn’t aware that WordPress retired that particular theme. I did notice Outspoken wasn’t too compatible with the Phone or Tablet view so maybe it’s time to update my blog theme.

    I can tell how much Outspoken has been part of your site’s identity over the years, and it makes sense that it feels like a big step to move away from it.

    Since that theme was retired and isn’t available anymore, moving forward with a modern Block theme will give you more flexibility and a smoother experience across devices.
