How can I get my posts to display?
-
My post did not display. I posted it again and it still did not display. None of my posts are visible on the home page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

See also if applicable > restoring from trash http://en.support.wordpress.com/trash/#restoring-from-trash(If you are referring to a Page then see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-revisions/)
I recommend:
Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ -
Go to > Posts > All Posts and hover over the title of the post. Click the Edit link. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/
In the top right hand module ie. the Publish module make sure the posts are not set to Draft or Private and if they are change that setting to Public and click the big blue Publish button. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/

I have previously done over a hundred posts in the same way and they all posted correctly. Now they are all invisible. The dashboard has the title of my most recent post and if I click on it, it takes me to the editing place with the post saved there, but clicking on “publish” does not publish it on the home page. That page has the usual on the left, but on the right where there should be posts, it is blank

That strange. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
P.S. This may sound nutty but did you try changing to the default theme Twenty Fourteen temporarily, doing no customizing at all, waiting a bit and then selecting your preferred theme and activating it?
-
I apologize for not knowing at all as much as you, timethief, but I have the theme “writr,” did not customize it, and do not know how to change to 2014 or where that is available.
-
Okay, don’t worry about this please. Just wait for Staff to work forward to this thread and help you.

I deleted my most recent post and the blog seems to be working again. I am thus guessing that there was some glitch in the blog itself that temporarily hurt the programming. I tested adding a tiny and there was no problem so I shall call the matter resolved (though may have to bother you again).
