how can i get my url back for a site I accidentally deleted?

  I understand that wordpress doesn’t give others URLs that have been deleted that were never theirs. I accidentally deleted my own wordpress site the other day but its still my account. Is it possible to get it back? I’m not worried about the lost posts, I just need the url name.

  @auxclass pointed out once any WordPress.COM blog URL has been deleted it is gone forever. That is why there are multiple warnings prior to even being able to delete it.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
