How can I get my website back to where it was before our domain name expired?
-
A few weeks ago our domain name registration for theup-turn.com expired. When we renewed our domain name through wordpress.com our blog reverted back to where it had been in 2012 when we upgraded our site to a self-hosted wordpress.org site. Along with countless hours worth of articles lost we also lost a theme that I spent both time and money on. I know that the posts we’ve made still exist as I can find them here:

However I am unable to figure out how to restore our site back to where it was before our domain name expired a few weeks ago. I would love some help on this, as I mentioned we’ve lost countless hours worth of work and would love to restore the site. Could the issue be related to wordpress.org not syncing with wordpress.com? It is curious that our site is exactly where it was back in 2012 when we went through a big renovation to move to self-hosting.
Thanks for anyone who can offer any help on the matter,

It sounds like your domain reverted back to WordPress.com nameservers. You’ll need to set them to point to your current webhost using these instructions:
Take a look through that page and let me know if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to help.
