How can I get my website to appear with Google search engine?

    Hello: I switched my domain host in April and created a WordPress.com site, but didn’t realize my website isn’t appearing when you do a search under my name cynthia consentino. Google, Ask, WOW, aren’t showing my site until you add the .com to my name, but Yahoo, Dogpile, and Bing list the site on top. I stopped checking the other search engines.

    ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. People are telling me they can’t find my website.

    Hi there,

    Please note that WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every site, post and page update. However, search engines can take 4 to 6 weeks (or more) to update.

    I checked Google and I see that it has indexed your blog:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Acynthiaconsentino.com

    However, as for the location of your site in the search index, it would be up to Google. We have no control of it. If people cannot find your site, I highly recommend providing them the exact URL.
