How can I get old posts off my blog homepage without deleting?

  Each new post I do goes on my home page, like it should. But when you scroll down, all of my old stuff is on my main page as well. I want my old posts to be off the main page, and archived, but I don’t want to DELETE them permanently. Please help

  You can control how many posts appear on your front page via Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.
