How can I get people to contact me?

Hello all- how can people contact you through your wp page? Is this one of those things that are so easy that people assume we know or it’s somehow already there? Since you would think that this is one of the major details of a site (how someone can contact you)
I’m afraid I may have accidentally deleted the contact form that came up when I made my about page which came with my wp site. I deleted it because when I viewed it- it put my name and email on it- which (I wanted blank) and now I can’t figure out how to find that contact form.
So basically I just want people to be able to email me through my wp site? Any advice on the simplest way to do it would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, when editing your About page there should be an “Add Contact Form” button that appears in line with Add Media, Add Poll, and Add Location buttons. Instructions for adding the form are available here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

Hello thank you I will check that- what I did you see – I accidentally deleted my contact form- since it came up on the about page with my name and email for all to see- when I wanted a blank form for visitors to fill out. so when I went back to about page it was gone!!

Thanks again- what isi confusing is – when you make the form- it puts your email on it in the preview- making one think that it is publishing your email- its not only until you log out that you realize your email is not on the form.
So thanks for helping me- it also says to go to the classic editor- (so they assume you know what a classic editor is) lol.
