How can I get rid of my year old domain?

  I wanted to cancel my old domain, and I did not renew the subscription. I want to abandon ownership of the old domain and am getting threatened with an overdraft fee.

  To confirm, you’d like to cancel thecodepatrol.com ? Once cancelled, it can take several months before the domain is available to purchase again, so if you want to use it elsewhere, don’t cancel it and I can help you redirect it elsewhere.

  I would like to cancel it yes. Blow that baby off the net with a nuke, but keep the bottleneck URL.
