How can I get rid of note on Home page widget
-
My home page has a note: Please configure the Image widget in your widget settings. And it shows to the public. Also, now, when I am posting a blog, I can no longer get to the ‘more’ colors to adjust shades. I can only use the colors that are already there. Can you tell me why that has changed?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The first image widget at https://aliciadean.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php doesn’t contain an image URL.
Regarding the colors, are you referring to http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#text-color ?
Note that you have the Custom Design upgrade which allows you to completely customize your site’s fonts and style: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure what you mean in that first line. All I know is, when someone views my site, they see the note they shouldn’t see: Please configure the Image widget in your widget settings.
If you look to my home page, to the left, you will see what I mean. I can’t figure out how to get rid of it.As for the colors, yes, the first thing is what I meant, the pallette for font colors in blog posts. Before, you could go to ‘more choices’ and do lighter/darker/mixed shades. Now, that option is no longer available. This is different from the custom design option. Does that make sense?
Thanks!

I removed the empty image widget for you. You should not see the ‘configure the image widget’ message again.
The color feature has recently been changed by our developers. You can still add other font colors using HTML: http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/ or the Custom Design upgrade: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design
