How can I get rid of the grey line at the top of my bog?

Hello,
A little advice please…Can i get rid of the grey line at the top of my blog? I also don’t know how to get rid of the search bar above the header on every page.. I’m still a complete rookie and have no idea how to use these HTML codes?! Is there a video tutorial around that could help
