How can I get rid of the header on all pages except the front page?

  Dear all,

  I have the Twenty Twelve theme and uploaded an header image which is visible on every page.
  I only want it to be on the front page but not on the others.

  How can I do that?

  As the theme you are using is not designed to do that you will require an annually renewable custom design upgrade so you can do the required CSS editing.
