How can I get rid of this pesky sidebar?!
-
When I chose my theme for my business blog, the preview did not have the sidebar displayed as it currently is now. I was wondering if you could please help me figure out how to make the “Forever” theme I chose look like it does on the preview while browsing themes. I have tried deleting the widgets in the appearance section of the dashboard, but this did not seam to help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

go to > Appearance > Widgets
select a text widget, click to open , add nothing at all in the title or text areas, click save click close
all widgets will be gone -
When you don’t want to add anything into a Text widget, then opening-saving-closing serves only as a way to pass the time…
Anyway, adding a blank Text widget won’t remove the sidebar, it will only make it empty.
Forever has a sidebar, and you can’t get rid of it without the Custom Design upgrade. You don’t see it in the theme thumbnail because the thumbnail displays the top part of the theme only, with the optional (full-width) post slider on; check the demo:

If you don’t want a sidebar you need a different theme. -
