How can I get rid of ugly text in emails going out to subscribers?

The emails going out to subscribers have additional text on top making them look very ugly. Basically it’s my post cut off on top of the real post. I first noticed it in a post from 8/16/12. I’m getting a lot of pressure from upper management to make it look nice again. I never touch the settings, so I don’t know why it’s there. How do I get rid of it?

I’m sorry you’re having trouble with subscription emails. Could you please take a screenshot of what you’re seeing (and let me know what email client you’re using) so I can investigate the problem further?

It looks like your email client just isn’t rendering the emails correctly. Do you see the same problem in webmail?

Nothing has changed for our mail servers and this just started a couple weeks ago. The problem seems to be occurring for everyone. Any suggestions that I could take back to my technical systems team?

Do you have screenshots from email clients other than Outlook 2007? Rendering issues is a common problem with that client as it is not standards-compliant.
Also, have you checked in webmail?

I just checked webmail and it looks perfect. I can’t figure out why this started recently. We’ve been using Outlook 2007 for a while now. Any suggestions on how to get it back the way it was before?

The next post may be okay, the issue is really with Outlook 2007’s inability to properly render web-standard code. Are you able to update to Outlook 2010?
