Thank you. Are you looking for general tips on making your blog more popular, or did you want specific advice on getting more RSS subscribers? I have to ask, because we get so many people who use the word “subscribers” for different things.

@raincoaster: i’d like to get more readers finding out about my blog, and since it’s targeted to a niche, i’d like to know how to get more people subscribing to the RSS…actually, i’m wondering if there’s a way to “add” people to be connected to by site, just like other networking sites?

You can’t force people to read your blog, no. They can choose to subscribe to your blog, read it on Blog Surfer, or go to the website itself daily, but that’s up to them.
There are over a thousand tips in the forum here already on increasing your readership, so try a search using “hits” and related terms. You can also find advice at http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com which will help you grow your readership.
And be sure to use your tags and categories wisely (ie not too many, but do use some, up to about a dozen max per post) and read and comment on other blogs that use the same tags and categories. They are an existing community that’s already interested in your topics.
