How can I get the author of a post to show on the post?
-
I only want to use a free theme (for now). Two other people and myself are going to be writing on one blog, so we’d like to have each author’s name show up under the post title. Which themes do that automatically? I can’t seem to figure it out.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your WordPress.COM username is linked to a Facebook account. Where is the blog? What is the URL of the free hosted WordPress.com blog it ought to be linked to please?

Only some themes are designed to display an author byline http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/

Regardless of the theme, bylines will only display now if there are at least two authors who both have at least one published post in the blog. The workaround you can use for displaying an author byline on a single author blog is found here and will work only if the theme is deigned to display an author byline at all. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/01/03/wordpress-com-changes-bylines-for-authors/

Thanks, timethief! Your third comment did the trick. I couldn’t figure out why a byline wasn’t showing up for any of them, but it was because there was just one post by one author. A second ‘test’ post did the trick. You’re great!
