How can I get the auto-saved draft of a post I was working on?

My computer crashed while I was working on a post and when I turned it back on, my post was gone. The auto-saved version that it shows was one that was created two days ago. While I was working on it, I kept seeing that the draft was auto-saved so why can’t I see those versions?

I need help recovering the info that was lost around 10:15 PM central time.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One possibility is that the previously saved auto-draft was overwritten. That can happen if you re-open the post and start writing again without realizing the old edits were not there. There is a team working right now to make autosaves work better. If you’ve lost some of your work, I’m really sorry about that!

Just to make sure, before you do anything else, go to https://wordpress.com/post with the same browser and see if it offers to restore a post. If a restore button appears, that means a local copy was saved in your browser and you may be able to recover it.

If a restore button does not appear when you start a new post, you can try checking for saved drafts at these locations:
    https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts
    https://wordpress.com/pages/drafts

If you are logged in as the same username you were logged in as when you first wrote the content using the same browser and still cannot find it at any of the links above, it’s possible the content was not saved or was overwritten for some reason. As I mentioned before, this is something we are currently working on to make better and I wanted you to know that even if it doesn’t help in this case.
