How can I get the header image on only my home page?

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi! I have uploaded a header image I like but I would like it to only appear on my home page. Is that possible?

    I tried the option to not have a header image and then upload a featured image on the page where I wanted it. But then the picture appeared UNDER my blog title instead of above :-( Is there a way to solve this?

    Hi @ayoungerskin, for the WordPress.com version of Nucleare you have installed on your site you can post in the WordPress.org forums and tag your post with wpcom-theme and one of us will respond to your request for help.

    To hide the header image on all but the home page, you can use this custom CSS.

    body:not(home) .site-branding .custom-header {
    	display: none;
    }
