How can I get the image for a badge to show up?

  I can’t see the image in a sidebar widget. In fact, after I enter the image source code and hit “save,” the source code box goes blank and no image uploads to the site. :(

  Hi there – It’s likely the code that you’re trying to use includes some type of code that’s not permitted here on WordPress.com and gets stripped out:

  As long as it’s just plain HTML, it should work. Try just uploading the plain image itself into your Media Library, and then adding that to a Text Widget or Image Widget.
