How can I get the link of the Facebook Page Plugin to open in a new window?

    The Facebook Page Plugin is working great in the footer of my WordPress.com site. The title becomes a link. But it would be really nice to have the link to FB page open in a new browser window. This doesn’t seem to be an option in the Facebook Page Plugin settings and the FB page URL is simply entered as a URL, not an HTML anchor tag (which would allow adding target=”_blank”.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi macbikegeek,

    Clicking the Facebook Page Profile widget automatically opens the Facebook page in a new tab.

    The widget title will also link to your Facebook Page, but will not open in a new tab.

    To counter this, you could leave the title field blank so that visitors have to click within the Facebook Page Profile widget, which will open in a new tab.

    @ellybiddle, thanks, that’s a perfect solution and so simple! And since the page title is right at the top of the embedded page, the title really is superfluous.
