How can I get the site to load design tools?
-
My blog is getting stuck in http://krisferrara.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php and will not load design tools. What to do? I hate the way it looks right now and something is definitely not working right on the site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

re: the 404 error message on the front page
404 Not Found
Oops! This page does not exist. Maybe you can try searching for it again.By default the front page of your blog displays all posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/

Note that you do not need to load the design tools unless you have the Custom Design upgrade, which it appears that you two have not purchased.
https://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-design/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/editing-css/All of the very same functions can be accessed from your dashboard.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > GeneralIf you are using the “Try Now” preview mode for the paid Custom Design upgrade, https://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/custom-design/ the settings related to that upgrade will save but they won’t show up on your blog unless you have purchased the upgrade.
To go back to the free options, go to Appearance → Themes → Customize → Colors and click the “exit the preview” link in yellow at the top of the panel on the right.
If you do purchase the custom design upgrade and you don’t have any published content yet on the blog you must publish a post. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/
