  The title is missing from my blog. It’s present under settings – general, but when I look at the blog it is absent…

  I’m not familiar with that theme. this is a stbe in the dark.
  > Appearance > Header
  select this:
  Header Text
  __ Show header text with your image.

  In Annotum, the Header Image actually overrides the Header Text, so you would need to remove the image from Appearance -> Headers to see the text title.
