How can I get the URL of a deleted blog?

  When I try to visit the site of the URL I want to use, it says that the blog has been deleted. However, when creating a blog, it won’t let me use the URL as my own because it’s already taken. Help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Blog addresses are not recyclable for the reasons explained in this support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  So the deleted address is gone forever. Please pick a different address for new blog.

  Hi @meglough

  So you already own a domain name, if you’ve registered this domain with anyone else apart from WordPress.com then you can map the domain to your blog.

  Try Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)

  If you want to transfer an existing domain to another WordPress.com blog you’ll need to contact support and the guys at WordPress.com will be able to help you out.
