How can I get thumbnail images to show up in Oxygen theme?
-
I was trying to switch to the Oxygen theme for my blog: janmundo.wordpress.com. I couldn’t get the thumbnails under the post slider to work after much wrangling, so I switched to Twenty Eleven. Now I have two blogs (Jan Mundo & The Headache Coach) in Twenty Eleven but want to “nest” both of them via menu links inside another blog (not up yet) using the Oxygen theme.
When I tried at Jan Mundo, I got the featured slider to work by creating a couple of images that were 750 px wide. However, I couldn’t get the thumbnails to show up underneath–as in the live demo.
Do I have to create another smaller image for each sticky post? I thought the thumbnails would just show up.
Thanks!

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog wearing Oxygen so we can examine it.

As in my request, it’s not up yet — I abandoned it for Twenty Eleven after trying for two days. I’m asking generally because I want to understand how to do it before I try again.
I’ve read the instructions and everything I could find on the theme’s page, live demo, and support, but was not able to create the thumbnails under the slider that correspond to those pics.
Can you give me specific instructions on how to create them? I can’t imagine the theme was designed to have to create two photo sizes for each featured post in the slider. . . . at least, I hope not.
Thanks!

timethief – the blog I’d tried doing this on (before implementing Twenty Eleven) was: http://janmundo.wordpress.com
