How can I get WordPress.org to work?
-
I am having a bit of a problem getting wordpress.org to work with my wordpress.com site because I want to be able to add custom Plug-ins and that is there a way of doing this because its really important. I have Custom CSS and I want to create a Forum but can’t do unless I have the Plug-ins which I can only get if I have wordpress.org.
So if anyone could help me that would be epic.
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot add forums to WordPress.com blogs. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them Those found on the internet are for wordpress.ORG installs which run on different software.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/You can register a forum at a forum hosting site on the internet and link to it from you blog.
CSS editing will allow you to stylize the appearance of themes you find here > Appearance > Themes, but it does not allow you to change the functionality, by editing the underlying template.

Ig you already have a WordPress.org install for self hosting then you are posting to thwe wrong support forum. If that’s the case then you need to post here > http://wordpress.ORG/support because we cannot help you with your install here at WordPress.COM.

And just to make sure you know, the wordpress.ORG blog that you have is in no way connected to wordpress.com. The are two totally separate things.
