How can I get WP to generate custom HTML when I post?
-
Maybe it’s too late at night and I’m not properly realizing the limitations of what I can and can’t do with WordPress.
I’ve already purchased the CSS editing upgrade. I’ve got everything working pretty much the way I’d like. But I’m trying to make the edges of my posts a bit rounded, while still maintaining a flexible width and height.
The only way I can really see to do this (and again, I’m no expert) is to make a 3×3 table, where the content is in the middle cell (#5). Cells #1, #3, #7, and #9 (top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right) all have 5×5 “rounded corners” images, while cells #2, #4, #6, and #8 (top middle, middle left, middle right, bottom middle) are just empty with a background color set.
Is there any way to make WordPress generate this table every time it posts something, instead of just putting it in a “div class=’snap_preview'” section? I don’t see any way to modify this by editing the CSS, but I also don’t see any way to make the modifications I’d need.
Essentially, here’s what I would want:
<table> <tr> <td class="topleft"></td> <td></td> <td class="topright"></td> </tr> <tr> <td></td> <td>CONTENT</td> <td></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="bottomleft"></td> <td></td> <td class="bottomright"></td> </tr> </table>Any thoughts?
