How can I have different public names and gravatars for each blog I have?

  In this moment I’m the owner of two blogs,( acairestaurant.wordpress.com and vintage-room.com) but I don’t want to share the same public name and the same gravatar in both- What can I do? Thank you

  What you can do is is separate your blogs by creating a new user, then transferring one of your blogs to that user.

  • Log out of your WordPress.com account and go to the signup page.
  • Create a new user (you can create a user without adding any blog by clicking the ‘Sign up for just a username’ link)
  • Once the new user is created, log out of the new account
  • Log back into your first account, and transfer the blog to the new user

  Thank you very much for your swift reply. I’ve done every step you said, but the transfer it’s not done yet. I supose this is the normal process, isn’t it? Wow long does it takes to be done more or less?

  Two days have passed and nothing happens.The reason could be ’cause the domain I want to transfer is an upgrade domain? WordPress should send me an email before the transfer?

  Yes, that would definitely be the hold-up. We need to know just a few things.

  1. Which domain do you want to transfer?

  2. Which user do you want to transfer it to?

  3. Do you also want the attached WordPress.com blog transfered to the same user?
