How can I have music autoplay on a blog post?

    I’m working on reviewing music, and I’d like a snippet or whole song to be played when my blog post is clicked on. If possible, have the song change at separate segments of the post. Kind of like what Complex did for their top 50 songs post.

    How would I go about doing this? I’ve looked into alternate audio players, but the ones I’ve found seem to have been discontinued.

    For years I used Gigya shortcode to enable autoplay on embedded videos from YouTube and some other video libraries, but I’ve been unable to get these to play for the last year or so on Firefox, and more recently with Google Chrome as well.

    Autoplay still works on SoundCloud audio players, with both FF and Google Chrome. See the SoundCloud Audio Player support page.

    I also embed audio players from archive.org and other sites using WordPress.com audio shortcode (see the WP.com Audio support page, but attempts to enable autoplay on them have failed.
