How can I have the top of my blog show earliest blogs>most recent blogs?

  That is not possible at wordpress.com. You might want to review this support document which gives you a workaround sort of.

  Write a Book

  The thing to remember though, is that returning visitors to your site will be wanting to see your latest posts and will not spend the time to click “previous” over and over and over again to get to your latest posts.
