How can I help a WordPress user follow my blog?

  someone with a WordPress account cannot follow my blog. They wrote to me today, “Just a comment and frustration – I cannot follow your WordPress blog as WordPress keeps telling me it does not recognize my email address in your “Follow” block – and it is correct and works on other blogs. And I’d really like to follow your blog…”
  Any ideas?

  Hi there,

  Can you pass along the email address or username of the individual that is attempting to follow your blog or ask them to contact support directly? Just a note, if you paste their email address in the forum, it will appear redacted, but it will be available to staff members.

  I appreciate the help! Once we know who the user is, we’ll be able to help more.

  Hi!

  Thanks for passing that along. Can you try asking the user to login to WordPress.com first and then clicking the “Follow” button in the admin bar when they visit your site?

  Great, thanks, something worked out in the process (I also suggested they could find me through a tag on the reader, and try that route)… Thanks for the support!
